Kick up your heels while kicking colon cancer’s butt! Join the Colon Cancer Prevention Project for a meal by Masterson’s Catering, an open bar, silent auction, and dancing with The Louisville Crashers! The Colon Cancer Prevention Project is dedicated to getting the conversations started about ON TIME screening for colon cancer. The Arrow Fund – Paint for Your Pet

Saturday, March 10 @ Penelope’s Pottery Painting 11am-4pm

Come to Penelope’s Pottery Painting and paint a bowl for your pet! For every bowl painted, $10 will be donated to The Arrow Fund. Your pet will receive a beautiful new bowl and you will help support the mission of The Arrow Fund to help animals who are victims of cruelty! Amvets Post 9 Presents Night at the Races

Saturday, March 10 @ Amvets Post 9 Louisville 6pm-10pm

The event will be held in the back hall. There will be pony bingo, paper pull tabs, 50/50 drawing, a cake wheel and more! WHAS Crusade for Children

Every year since 1954, the WHAS Crusade for Children has raised money for special needs children. Nelson County High School is proud to partner with Buffalo Wings & Rings to raise money for our community and others like us. 15% of proceeds from your meal will benefit the WHAS Crusade for Children on behalf of Nelson County High School. Gift of Life Gala

Saturday, March 17 @ Speed Art Museum 7pm-11pm

The National Kidney Foundation invites you to participate in the Gift of Life Gala. They will be honoring the dedicated medical professionals and pioneers in the treatment of chronic kidney disease. There will be a hors d’oeuvres, complimentary cocktails, live and silent auction, as well as live entertainment held in the spirit of supporting the National Kidney Foundation and its mission. Support Junior League of Louisville at Le Moo!

This organization made up of women is committed to promoting volunteerism, developing women’s potential & improving the community. KY Walk for Wishes® Kick-off Party

Tuesday, March 20 @ Kentucky Science Center 6pm-8pm

Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana has teamed up with Kentucky Kingdom to raise funds to grant local wishes. Help make wishes come true and spread hope, strength and joy to children with critical illnesses through Make-A-Wish Day at Kentucky Kingdom featuring Walk for Wishes. The event is free.

 

The Fight Foundation 5k

Saturday, March 24 @ Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest 9am-11am

The Fight Foundation exists to help raise money to end childhood cancer. Your participation in this event is greatly appreciated. Whether you plan to walk, run, or just have fun, people of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to join us! Bring your children, your family, and your friends.
